* Yellow Dog Theatre Company runs fun drama workshops, leading to productions for children from 5 years and up. We have been running successfully for over a year now and have produced 6 great shows in that time. Yellow Dog Theatre Company exists to use drama workshops, and project’s teaching theatre skills to enhance children and young people’s wider learning through fun, challenging experience.

* Our company ethos is to create an atmosphere of understanding, kindness and safety as a starting point in all our work. We support the individual through creating a strong group identity.

* When this is achieved we empower the students to create their own work, gather their own props and costumes; and ultimately to understand the whole process of creating a show.

* Experience has taught us that this is an effective path towards helping children to believe in themselves, and in their own creativity.

* It is our hope that participants come to identify with Yellow Dog Theatre as an experience that stands for friendship, bravery, fun and confidence.
